The calcium in Bio-Design's CalPlus is provided by bio-available calcium citrate and calcium microcrystalline hydroxyapatite (MCHA). Bio-Design's MCHA is sourced from free-range, grass-fed, New Zealand bovine bone. Magnesium citrate balances these two calcium forms.
BSE is not known to exist in New Zealand.
Natural vitamin K2 (MK-7) assists in directing calcium from the bloodstream to bone.
Betaine HCl and Glutamic Acid HCl in this formula provide the acidic environment needed for optimum calcium absorption.
Iodine, from Icelandic kelp, vitamin D3, along with the minerals zinc, boron, copper, manganese and vanadium work together to promote optimum calcium utilization, remineralization, and bone density.
CalPlus's unique and synergistic ingredients work to create a bone strength and density formula you can count on.
Recommended use: For adults only. Take 4 capsules daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
WARNING: K2 (MK-7) may interfere with anticoagulant medication, ie Coumadin (warfarins). Consult with your healthcare professional before taking if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition or are taking prescription medication.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 3 capsule daily, with meals, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Other Ingredients: Vegetable capsule, powdered cellulose, silicon dioxide, vegetable calcium stearate, citric acid.
