Bio-Design’s DiAcid Stim is a unique, comprehensive hydrochloric acid (HCl) and digestive enzyme formula, supplied in a single, convenient two-phase release tablet. DiAcid Stim can be particularly beneficial for people as they age, due to both diminishing stomach acid and diminishing digestive enzyme levels, which result in indigestion, gas, bloating and reduced utilization of nutrients.
Most digestive formulas support only one phase of digestion, providing either digestive enzymes or hydrochloric acid. Because DiAcid Stim provides both. It can assist those with low stomach acid, by supplying the hydrochloric acid (HCl) and pepsin, necessary for the stomach phase of digestion. Additionally, it supplies digestive enzymes for intestinal digestion. Bio-Design’s two-phase release tablet is designed to release Betaine HCl and glutamic HCL in the stomach, while delaying and protecting the digestive enzymes from acid until they reach the intestine.
The ingredients of HCl, Pepsin and digestive enzymes combine to provide an optimum breakdown of food, so absorption of vitamins and minerals can be enhanced.
