Coumarin is also one of the most important chemicals for asthma. It has also been beneficial for:
- cervical neck pain,
- lower back pain (occasionally),
- digestive problems, and
- chronic fatigue.
Coumarin is a sort of “kamikaze suicide pill” that kills surrounding cells when pathogens attack, thereby killing the attacker as well.
The best sources of Coumarin in nature are grasses and alfalfa. Foods and milk products will carry some derivative of it, as well as most grains (grasses). Coumarin is also described, in most literature, as a root growth hormone; so, it will be found in root foods, such as carrots and beets, and in some kinds of fungi.
